I have contacted the maker and they may have certain me the rug hasn't been dealt with with substances but I am still worried about this smell. Could the latex backing have glue that is definitely offgassing or is this just a normal smell for sisal?I discovered both of those my jute rug and my cat’s scratching publish (built with sisal) to get so
